Redroofs School for the Performing Arts, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, is an independent part-time theatre school with strong national and international industry links across theatre, film, television, and media. Founded in London in 1947 as the Gladstone School of Speech and Drama and relocated to Berkshire in 1964, it now trains over 500 students of all abilities. Alumni include award-winning performers such as Kate Winslet, Simone Ashley, Joanne Froggatt, and many others. Through its agency, Redroofs has placed thousands of young people in professional roles. Run by the founding family, the school mentors each student, inspiring and guiding their unique performing arts journey.

Our Performing Arts programme offers dynamic training in acting, dance, and musical theatre for children and young people of all abilities.
